Merriam-Webster reported today that reticent was a trending word today. The report was political in nature. Yet as I thought about the word, I realized there were many times that I wanted to be silent or non-communicative.
There are times when I want to parse my words to ensure that I’m being diplomatic or on point with what I say.
Reticience is a good tool.
