Basically it means to question again.
Last night, I finished a book that had been on my reading list for a while. It is “Wait, What? And Life’s Other Essential Questions,” by James E. Ryan. Ryan presents five essential questions that helped him get through life.
I was inspired by them.
I was especially inspired by the question “Couldn’t we at least …?”
It is a great question for negotiation and allows for you to present a different perspective. And, it changes the dynamics of the conversation and moves things along.
A good lawyer will tell you not to ask any question you don’t already know the answer too. But I disagree. Like Ryan, questions you don’t know the answer too can be really informative and helpful.
What questions will you ask again? ❤
