{Re}align

Keck has a Nissan 370Z. Because the tires on the rear-end are a tad bigger than the tires on the front end he often has to have them rotated. Recently, he had to have the car realigned.

A realignment is actually an adjustment of the vehicle’s suspension. The system that connects a vehicle to its wheels. According to the website Bridgestone, “The key to proper alignment is adjusting the angles of the tires, which affects how they make contact with the road.”

There are three angles that need to be adjusted: the camber, toe, and caster. Improper angles make your tires wear unevenly.

And tires for this car cost way more than two Kate Spade bags.

When the term came up tonight during our small group — everyone looked at me.

When Paula said she had to realign her vision to Christ — I found my word.

I sometimes have to realign my vision too. Otherwise my figurative tires get worn in the wrong places and cause my spiritual car to pull one way or the other.

I’m reminded of a song — of course. ❤
