You know I believe that there’s far to little poetry in this world. Yesterday, I picked up my copy of my friend Dana’s daughter’s book, One Whole World: Poems from the Heart.

While I read it in one sitting, Vivian Grace Glazier captured me with several of her poems. I sent a text to her mom for permission to use this poem for our day of rest.

Rest, by Vivian Grace Glazier, One Whole World: Poems from the Heart. with permission.

This young woman’s poetry delighted me, and helped me find rest on a rainy morning. Not only by these words, but by the many others she chose to share with us through her real talent. I enjoyed every minute.

May these words remind you today that rest is a blessing not just for you but for those around you. ❤
