An object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.

This fascinating law of physics has always intrigued me.
When I studied physics in college, I was a commuter student. I spent at least two hours on the road everyday. I was constantly testing the laws of physics especially with my stopping ability or inability.
My driving generated a million questions as I observed my world. I think I drove my professor crazy.
It’s amazing to me how God created our world. How it works. How it’s gravity keeps my feet on the ground. How laws and predictability are comforting and trustworthy. Sun comes up; sun goes down; leaves change from spring green to harvest gold because it’s written into their DNA.
On Sundays, I can ponder these laws and rest in the fact that world spins old. ❤
