My mom recently had right knee replacement surgery.

While she was seated at the table, she dropped something on the floor. She asked me to pick it up because she was having difficulty reaching all the way down.

I was on her right side.

I approached several times. And then backed away. Subconsciously knowing that leaning over her right knee wasn’t going to work.

Quickly, a friend saw what had happened and went straight in to pick up the fallen object.

His approach from a completely different angle solved the problem lickety-split. He had an entirely different perspective.

Keep thinking about things above, not things on the earth …

Colossians 3:2

Our perspective of things above versus things of earth should give us a completely different approach. A new perspective.

What can you reapproach? Approach again?
