This is not a political post. Sorry, not sorry.
Yet, tonight I felt like writing my senators to express my opinion about something. I felt I needed to act.
I used Resitbot. It’s a free service that allows us citizens direct access to our elected officials. From my phone, I text 50409. It wakes up my artificially intelligent friend and it writes the beginning and ending of my message and sends it on.
My point: We live in a free country. We’ve elected officials to represent us. I voted in the last election. And, I and all citizens am free to express opinions.
Resist what you feel compelled to fight against. Support what you feel compelled to support. But whatever you do, do not become passive. Citizens have responsibilities to go along with their rights.
