Rest. It’s what we need following our #epicSaturdays.
My work colleagues were teasing me about my Saturday agendas. Last weekend, it was Jane Austen’s birthday celebration, followed by a Congo Restoration pop up, three-layer cake baking and then a Christmas party.
This weekend was we went to Davis Street Coffee for breakfast, the Dallas Farmers Market, Fort Worth for our friends’ BBQ pop up, Lowe’s for a new leaf blower, and then a spot of leaf raking and dirt moving.
Next weekend is our trip home to Oklahoma.
Today was for a long lunch and great conversation, just the two of us. A long trip to the mall for a spot of Christmas shopping and then a dinner of leftovers and other good stuff.
It’s been a lovely day. ❤
