{Re}grip

When you reach the end of your rope, tie a knot in it and hang on.”

Franklin D. Roosevelt

It’s said that several of our presidents have used this quote. It’s all about not giving up, about finding something in which you can put your hope and your trust and hold on to again and again.

It’s a favorite scripture that provides you with the impetus to keep going. A song that puts a smile on your face and spring in your step.

When I heard this song, Sirens, by The Gray Havens, Hold on My Heart, about following the siren song that was nothing but lies and misdirects, I was reminded to hold on to something that gives me hope and a purpose.

To stop and remember that there’s a hope full of grace, and that I need to regrip that for all I’m worth. Maybe this song will say that to you too. ❤
