Back in the day when video cassettes were how you saw the latest movies or binge-watched television, there was nothing worse than getting a movie that hadn’t been rewound.
The video stores started posting signs on literal walls: Be Kind. Rewind.
It was the 80s version of pay it forward.
And everyone from the era remembers that the best way to save your tunes on a cassette tape was to use a number 2 pencil to rewind the tape. We also remember our first Walkmans, and making our own mix-tapes.
Today, all I could think was: Be kind. Rewind.
It made me think there are a million ways to be kind. I should choose them.
Anxiety weighs down the heart, but a kind word cheers it up.
Proverbs 12:25
I know simply thinking about the old saw made my heart a little lighter today. ❤
