The floor is not level. We thought we could fix it.
While it turns out we can fix it, in the process Keck noticed that we had another problem with the corners in the room.
There are really two problems. The first is that the floor is unlevel and can be fixed easily. AND, it’s about how water drains away from our property. In our case, it’s washing away the dirt by the back of the house and causing the space under our house to be damp.
Now, we’re awaiting the estimate. The dreaded piece of paper that tells us how much money this old house is going to cost us.
When Keck asked me the other day if this was okay. My response was an emphatic, NO!
But we have to protect our biggest investment — so we’ll take all plans into consideration — we’ll reinvest in our house. ❤
