I walked into our credit union with a box of rolled coins.
The teller took one look at me and said, “We don’t take rolled coins. You’ll have to rip those off and put it in the machine.”
I shot back, “So you can charge me for it?”
After discovering that since I have an account with said credit union the change counting service was free, I calmed down.
When it comes to counting, it’s usually not coins I count. Although the amount of coinage we can fit into a jar is enough for a fancy dinner. It takes a while to collect that much change.
It’s better to count my blessings.
Who can adequately recount the Lord’s mighty acts, or relate all his praiseworthy deeds?
